Kalyanbhai
Kalyanbhai of Vanthali was passionate about spreading satsang and the glory of Shreeji Maharaj. Kalyanbhai was a farmer by occupation. Once he grew sugar crane crop in his farm and it was harvest time. The farm adjacent to that of Kalyanbhai belonged to a non-satsangi. He was afraid that if he keeps company of Kalyanbhai he will become a Swaminarayan devotee, for which he was not ready. But Kalyanbhai was determined to make him a satsangi so that he benefit by worshiping Shreeji Maharaj.
One day Kalyanbhai talked to non-satsangi neighbor, "Could you please be my partner in the sugarcane harvest? I am not able to keep up with the work. The crop is ready to be harvested and you don͛t have to work, but I just need a partner to help me with the harvest and you will have equal partnership in the earnings".
Initially he refused. But his wife explained that there was no loss in the partnership since crops was ready to be reaped. So, he agreed to partner with Kalyanbhai on one condition that he will not participate in any physical labor. "We will do all the work" Kalyanbhai said. He felt grateful. He started visiting Kalyanbhai and also chatting and sitting with Kalyanbhai.
As days passed, he became a satsangi. Kalyanbhai taught him how to meditate using Maharaj's til-chihna (mole and body marks). But Kalyanbhai forgot to mention one of the chihna, so he used to miss this chihna in his mediation. One night, Maharaj gave him his divine darshan and asked him "You remember all til-chihna but one. Why can't you do complete meditation?" "Kalyanbhai has not mentioned it to me", he said.
Next day he narrated this incidence to Kalyanbhai. Kalyanbhai was happily amazed and said, "Oho! you are so blessed that Maharaj gave darshan to you!!"
Moral: Our inclination to spread satsang must be as strong as that of Kalyanbhai.
