CHARITRA
"જીવનનો અભિગમ બદલીએ"
Munibava
Munibava was a well known Sanyasi in Surat City. He had lots of followers. Munibava came in contact with Brahmanand swami and was very impressed with Swami's talent and devotion. Munibava was a vedanti and had a different philosophy about God and incarnations. After lots of deliberation and discussion, Brahmanand Swami convinced him to accompany him to Ghadhada for Shreeji Maharaj's darshan.
After
few days when Munibava and Brahmanand swami arrived in Gadhada and proceeded to
have darshan of Maharaj, Maharaj was
in the middle of his hair cut and shave. Brahmanand Swami and Munibava did dandvat
pranam and took their seats. Maharaj thought of doing a charitra,
when His beard was half shaven, Maharaj told Dada Khachar, ‘I am very hungry,
please get Me something to eat’. Dada Khachar did not even doubt why Maharaj
asked for food in the middle of His shave. Neither did Brahmanand swami.
As
Dada Khachar brought the food, Maharaj started eating it while half of the hair
cut and shave was left. Munibava felt disgusted and that he made a fool of
himself by coming to Gadhada. Brahmanand swami tried to convince him, but to no
avail. Swami told Maharaj, ‘hey Maharaj, You are omniscient and know everything
so why did You do such a charitra? It had taken me so much effort to
convince him for Your darshan.’ As if
Maharaj did not know anything, He said, ‘Swami is that true, ask him to come to
the royal court tomorrow.’ After lot of requests by Brahmanand Swami, Munibava agreed
to leave the next day after meeting Maharaj. Next day Munibava arrived in Dada
Khachar’s royal court. Maharaj took His pillow and circled it and threw it
upwards. At that very moment, Munibava had the divine darshan of Maharaj's swaroop as Chatrbhuj Narayan. He
now knew that Shreeji Maharaj is none other than God from Akshardham.
Munibava then become a disciple of Maharaj.
